The Honorable Frank Ciuffani Appointed to the Supreme Court Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution

9.4.2017

The Honorable Frank Ciuffani (Ret.) was appointed to the Supreme Court Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution for a two year term effective September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2019.  The Supreme Court of New Jersey established the Committee in 1990 to assist with the comprehensive process of preparing and implementing rules to govern the Court’s dispute resolution practices, in conjunction with the other Supreme Court “Rules” Committees. The Committee reviews and refines these rules as necessary, along with the Court’s standards for the selection and training of mediators and arbitrators. The Committee also assesses and evaluates all the Court’s current and upcoming dispute resolution programs, including settlement proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.  As chair of Wilentz’s ADR practice, Judge Ciuffani concentrates his practice on mediating, arbitrating and serving as special master in complex commercial, employment and probate litigation.
