Biographical Information:
Greg Shaffer was a civil investigator for product liability and medical malpractice matters before attending law school. Since graduating, he has tried numerous civil matters and argued before the appellate division. One of his most notable wins came against an insurance company that denied coverage for the victim of a fire, when the victim misrepresented his claim.
Mr. Shaffer has served Trial Lawyers Care as an advocate for victims of the 9-11 disaster and received the 2004 Public Justice Achievement Award. He has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children and a chairperson for a Child Placement Review Board. He is the sitting Chair of the NJ Bar Individual Rights Committee.
Mr. Shaffer has contributed to Trial, Dictum, and the Star-Ledger. He has appeared on Eyewitness News, and has been mentioned in the New York Times, the Record, and the New Jersey Lawyer.
He is currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Trial Attorneys of New Jersey.
