Biographical Information:

Abby Resnick-Parigian is Counsel in the Woodbridge office of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer P.A., concentrating in the area of toxic tort litigation. This area of litigation includes representation of individuals afflicted with occupational and environmental illnesses. Prior to her work with this firm, she practiced in New York City for eleven years, and in Philadelphia, for three years preceding that time.

In the course of her practice in New York City, Ms. Resnick-Parigian participated in the Brooklyn Navy Yard asbestos trials in both New York Supreme Court as well as in the United States District Court, where she obtained verdicts in excess of $6 million. In addition to her asbestos work, Ms. Resnick-Parigian successfully settled and/or tried other cases in the areas of products liability, lead poisoning, and numerous other plaintiff personal injury cases.

In 1996, Ms. Resnick-Parigian tried and retried a products liability action in New York's United States District Court, Southern District, with a verdict in excess of $1 million, which resulted in precedent-setting law in New York regarding the liability of manufacturers of defective products.

Ms. Resnick-Parigian has lectured in the area of breast implant litigation as well as in the area of products liability litigation. She also appeared on Court TV, as a participant in a mock mediation.

She is a past member of the New York State Trial Lawyers' Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America-New York, the New York Women's Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Products Liability Committee.

She is a present member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America-New Jersey.
