David Wand Installed as Assistant Secretary of New Jersey State Bar Association Public Utility Law Section


On May 18th, Wilentz Administrative Law Associate T. David Wand was installed as Assistant Secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA)’s Public Utility Law Section (PULS). PULS reviews developments in public utility law, in addition to maintaining an active liaison with state agencies responsible for regulation of the New Jersey’s public utilities. Mr. Wand and the other officers were confirmed during the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

At Wilentz, Mr. Wand’s practice is focused on energy and environment, telecommunications regulations in New Jersey and other aspects of administrative law. Prior to joining Wilentz, Mr. Wand served as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, Division of Law, where he advised and litigated on behalf of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities in both state and federal matters, including those before: the United States Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit; the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; and the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
