Lisa Gora, Wilentz attorney and Secretary to the Cannabis Law Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, will serve as a panelist at the New Jersey Society for Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) Cannabis Conference on the Social Justice Panel. The panel will address expungement, contradictory employment law, and other legal aspects associated with legalized adult use cannabis. Lisa Gora will speak on the availability of microbusiness licenses that assist smaller business entrepreneurs to get involved in the cannabis space.
The NJCPA conference will provide insight into the growing billion-dollar legal cannabis industry and its impact on New Jersey businesses with respect to accounting issues, banking and finance issues, entity planning, and how emerging technologies like blockchain can be utilized to navigate through federal and state laws.
