U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers have again ranked Wilentz in their list of “Best Law Firms” for 2019. The firm is ranked in 45 business and personal law practice areas nationally as well as in New Jersey and New York.
For the ninth year in a row, Wilentz is recognized with a National Tier 1 ranking for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Plaintiffs. The practice area also received the top ranking in New York.
In New Jersey, the firm’s business law practice areas ranked as Tier 1 include: Appellate Practice, Banking and Financial Services, Business and Commercial Litigation, Corporate, Health Law, and Land Use. On the personal law services side, Wilentz received Tier 1 rankings for Criminal Defense, including White Collar Litigation and DUI/DWI Defense, Employment Law, and Family Law.
The “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on results of an evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. All of the quantitative and qualitative data is combined into an overall “Best Law Firms” score for each firm. This data is then compared to other firms within the same metropolitan area and at the national level.
