The Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce has honored Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer with its Corporate Citizen of the Year Award 2019. The award was conferred to the firm at the 55th Annual Chairman’s Awards Dinner held on October 16 at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Woodbridge in Iselin, New Jersey.
Founded in 1964, the Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce supports economic development and promotes community participation in the greater Woodbridge area. The Corporate Citizen of the Year Award is conferred annually to “outstanding citizens, local businesses and business owners who go above and beyond serving the Woodbridge Metro area” by “creating jobs and opportunity, forging partnerships, helping improve the quality of life and working to build an even stronger, more vibrant and connected Woodbridge community.”
Throughout the firm’s 100-year history, several Wilentz lawyers have been distinguished with the same award: Warren Wilentz, Middlesex County prosecutor from 1956-1960, who also served as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce; Wilentz Chairman of the Board John Hoffman; Shareholder Jay Ziznewski; and Wilentz Assistant General Counsel John Hogan, who serves on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce.
