The New Jersey Law Journal has named Wilentz Shareholder Michael F. Schaff to its 2020 list of New Jersey Trailblazers. Mr. Schaff was recognized for pioneering a new specialization of health law focused on the legal needs of physicians and physician organizations, leveraging his many leadership positions within the American Health Lawyers Association and other legal and healthcare organizations as a conduit to help educate physicians and lawyers in navigating issues related to the increasingly complex laws governing physicians’ practices and their relationships with healthcare institutions.
At Wilentz, Mr. Schaff co-leads the Health Law and Corporate teams, assisting healthcare professionals and businesses of all sizes in evaluating the legal and business ramifications of any transaction, contract, agreement or negotiation to help them prosper and adapt to the changing healthcare marketplace.
