Wilentz Shareholder and Criminal Law Chair Darren M. Gelber served as Special Co-Editor of the April edition of New Jersey Lawyer magazine. This first of its kind edition focuses on applying the law in a society changed by the pandemic.
As Special Co-Editor, Mr. Gelber helped identify the topics to be covered in the issue, recruited authors and edited their submissions, drawing on his years of experience in the practice of Criminal Law. New Jersey Lawyer is the New Jersey State Bar Association’s award-winning professional journal, delivered bimonthly to members. Each issue focuses on a particular area of substantive law, showcasing informative articles by leaders in the field.
At Wilentz, Mr. Gelber represents clients in federal and state courts, and before administrative agencies, in connection with fraud, theft, complex white collar crimes and other matters. His practice extends into the healthcare field, where he represents physicians, dentists, pharmacists and other licensed professionals in criminal matters, administrative and licensing hearings, audits, and regulatory litigation, including Medicaid/Medicare fraud investigations, and administration actions involving discipline and licensing of professionals.
