The New Jersey Alliance for Action (NJAA) has recognized Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. with the organization’s “New Jersey’s Leading Capital Construction Project” award, nominated by the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank. The award was in recognition of the Wilentz-led public finance transaction for the Trenton 5-Year Lead Service Line Replacement & Verification project. The public finance team led by practice Co-Chair, Everett M. Johnson served as bond counsel in connection with the authorization and issuance of $15,000,000 General Obligation Notes to the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank for Lead Service Line Replacement.

The NJAA awards program was created to “highlight innovative, pioneering and landmark construction initiatives that greatly impact the state’s economy and to honor the businesses and organizations that work together as partners to ensure the project’s success.”

The award was conferred at the “New Jersey’s Leading Capital Construction Projects” Award Ceremony, on February 16 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.

In his public finance practice, Everett represents municipalities, counties, improvement authorities, and boards of education throughout the State of New Jersey as bond and redevelopment counsel. On the underwriter side, Everett has represented large investment banks in significant public finance transactions.
