Miller v. Basic Research, et al. (07-00871, D. Utah)
This class action lawsuit alleges that the manufacturers of Akavar 20/50, a purported weight-loss supplement, claims that purchasers of Akavar 20/50 can "Eat all you want and still lose weight", even though the product has not been tested and there is no scientific evidence to support the claims. The court certified this action as a class action and appointed Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. "Class Counsel."
