Kevin Berry is a Shareholder in the Mass Tort and Class Action groups at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer P.A., and heads the firm’s New York office. Over the last 30 years, he has represented more than 5,000 victims of occupational and environmental injuries in New York and New Jersey, including those caused by asbestos, lead, toxic chemicals, and defective equipment. A regular speaker at local and national meetings of unions representing workers impacted by occupational safety and health issues, Mr. Berry has tried numerous cases to verdict and has obtained several multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for victims suffering from mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis. Among his clients are Power Plant and Utility Workers, Steamfitters, Plumbers, Boilermakers, Electricians, Shipyard Workers, and other tradespeople injured due to their exposure to asbestos.
In addition to his asbestos litigation practice, Mr. Berry also represents individuals throughout the United States who have been injured by defective pharmaceutical products and dangerous consumer products, and in connection with consumer fraud, hazardous products, and health care fraud.
Mr. Berry is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA), and Public Justice. While in law school, Mr. Berry was Articles Editor for the St. John’s Law Review.
