Biographical Information:

Michael J. Barrett is a member of the Personal Injury Team and Workers’ Compensation Team at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. Mr. Barrett primarily represents clients in product liability, medical malpractice, negligence, workers’ compensation, and commercial litigation matters. He has represented the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, the Middlesex County Improvement Authority, Roosevelt Care Center and the Middlesex County Utilities Authority in litigation matters.

Mr. Barrett served as the president of the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association from 1997-1998. He has also served as a Trustee of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey from 1994 through 1997. Mr. Barrett is also a contributing author in a text entitled “New Jersey Product Liability Law," New Jersey Law Journal Books, (1994), and the author of “New Jersey’s Wrongful Death Law: A Matter of Economics,” 245 N.J. Law Journal 38 (April 2007). He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association, The Middlesex County Bar Association, the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association, and regularly serves as a bar panelist for the Middlesex County Bar Panel program.
