Wilentz Shareholder Brett Harris will be a panelist at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education seminar entitled "Libel / Slander and Why Your Clients Need to Worry - Credible Claims and Successful Defenses," which will provide an overview of the law surrounding defamation in New Jersey. Ms. Harris, Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Business Law Section and Past Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Internet and Computer Law Committee, will address defamatory content in a business context, and will give advice on online reputation management for businesses.
This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 4.5 hours of total CLE credit that qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law and workers’ compensation law. It has also been approved for New York and Pennsylvania CLE.
