Darren M. Gelber to Discuss Virtual Proceedings in Criminal Court at Middlesex County Bar Association Webcast

Wilentz Criminal Defense Chair Darren M. Gelber will present “Virtual Proceedings in Criminal Court: Practical, Legal and Ethical Considerations” during a webcast for the Middlesex County Bar Association. Mr. Gelber will join other criminal law practitioners from the public and private practice to provide useful tips on how to use Microsoft Teams and Zoom for court appearances, testimonial hearings and bench trials. The panel will also address the right of victims to participate, the right to confrontation, as well as other considerations related to ethics and the Rules of Professional Conduct.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of NJ for 2.0 hours of CLE credit. Of these, 1.0 qualify as hours of credit toward ethics/professionalism and 1.0 hours of credit toward certification in criminal law.
