Michael F. Schaff will present on “Mentoring, Sponsorship, Championing and Coaching Emerging Professionals” at the American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) Leadership & Career Development Program on Saturday, June 27 in New York City. Michael will be joined by Elisabeth Belmont, former Corporate Counsel, MaineHealth, and Lisa Vandecavaye, former General Counsel, The Joint Commission. The program will focus on how experienced leaders can move beyond traditional mentorship to actively support and advance emerging professionals through sponsorship, advocacy, and coaching to strengthen the future of the health law community.
Michael is co-chair of the Corporate, Health, and Cannabis Law practice groups and a member of the Management Committee at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. He focuses his practice on advising health care organizations on corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, governance, and complex business arrangements.
