On November 18, the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law held its 25th Anniversary CLE Program that featured a panel of state and federal judges, including New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice and Wilentz alum Barry T. Albin. During the panel discussion, Justice Albin commented about the positive influence that Warren Wilentz had on his legal career some forty years prior, leading up to him joining Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer in 1982, where he practiced until he was sworn in as Associate Justice in 2002. Warren Wilentz, the son of firm founder David T. Wilentz, followed in his father’s footsteps to become an influential lawyer and public servant in New Jersey, including serving as county prosecutor and county counsel for Middlesex County from 1956 to 1967, and later as the chairman of the board of Wilentz, where he guided the firm’s growth for many years.
