Alexandra Shapiro is an associate in the Corporate and Health Law groups at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. She focuses her practice on business and commercial matters and brings prior experience clerking for the Honorable Michael V. Cresitello, A.J.S.C., of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties, and formerly P.J. Civ. of the Middlesex Vicinage.
Alexandra earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2024, where she received a Regents Scholarship and served as Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. While in law school, she was active in the Leadership Fellows Program, Peter W. Rodino Society, and as a Barbri Student Ambassador. She also gained practical experience as a student attorney in the Housing Justice & Legal Design Clinic and as a participant in Gressman Moot Court.
Her judicial experience includes internships with the Honorable Lisa Vignuolo, P.J. Ch., of the Middlesex Vicinage, and the Honorable Lisa Adubato, P.J. Ch., of the Essex Vicinage, in addition to her clerkship with Judge Cresitello. She also served as a Summer Associate at a law firm in Parsippany and as a Law Clerk at a law firm in Red Bank.
Before law school, Alexandra graduated magna cum laude from The College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Law, Politics, Philosophy, and Journalism/Professional Writing. She was inducted into several honor societies, including Pi Sigma Alpha and Golden Key National Honor Society, and served as Vice President of the Pre-Law Society.
She also has a longstanding connection to Wilentz, having served as both a 1L Summer Associate and Undergraduate Legal Intern at the firm.
