John Q. Howard is an associate on the Business and Commercial Litigation team at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A., focusing his practice on commercial litigation, including matters arising from breach of contract, complex construction, and shareholder and business disputes. 

Before joining Wilentz, John served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Francis R. Hodgson, Jr., P.J. Ch., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County.

While attending law school, John was a legal extern at FINRA where he facilitated legal research, memoranda, and investigation analyses for senior staff. As a legal extern for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel, John assisted the Department of Human Services with research, motions and letters, and investigations for the Commonwealth. As a legal extern for the Honorable Paul R. Wallace of the Superior Court of Delaware, John assisted with legal research, drafted opinions and bench memoranda.

John earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2021 and his B.A. from Boston College in 2018.
