Liesel Pajarillo is an associate on the Public Finance team at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A., where she has developed a practice focused on municipal and school bond law. Liesel works on numerous tax-exempt and taxable public finance transactions, encompassing all aspects of capital financing, including the issuance of school bonds, lease transactions, and energy improvement finance transactions.
Prior to joining Wilentz, Liesel served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jonathan W. Romankow of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Somerset County. Liesel earned her law degree from The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she was a Merit Scholar. While attending law school, Liesel worked as a legal compliance extern for an investment management company and as a legal intern for a Fortune 500 alcohol and beverage company, and served as a judicial intern for both New York State Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Liesel graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a B.A. in 2016.
