Ryan D. Russell is an associate in the Family Law group at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. Ryan’s practice is dedicated to matrimonial and family law, including divorce, child support, child custody, alimony, equitable distribution of assets, adoptions, domestic violence, and juvenile delinquency.

Prior to joining Wilentz, Ryan handled a variety of family law matters throughout the State of New Jersey. He has extensive experience with court hearings, early settlement panels, mediation, and other proceedings held in family law litigation. In addition, Ryan is adept at drafting motions, agreements, briefs, and other related documents in family law matters, including appeals.

While in law school, Ryan worked at Seton Hall Law’s Center for Social Justice Clinic, representing clients in various matrimonial disputes. After graduation, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kathleen A. Sheedy, Presiding Judge of New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part, Monmouth County.

Outside of the office, Ryan volunteers with the One Catalyst Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide “tangible support to the members of the community as well as medical financial assistance, oncology research funding, and educational scholarships.”
