Department of Health and Human Services Extends Application Deadlines for Medicaid, CHIP and Dental Distributions

The application deadline for submissions by healthcare practitioners for Provider Relief Funds under the CARES Act for Medicaid, CHIP and dental providers has been extended by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to August 3, 2020.

On July 17, 2020, HHS announced that the deadline for eligible Medicaid and CHIP providers to apply for Provider Relief Funds has been extended from July 20, 2020 to August 3, 2020. The application process was covered in our June 11 alert.

On July 20, 2020, HHS announced that the deadline for eligible dentists to apply for the Dental Distribution Funds has been extended from July 24, 2020, to August 3, 2020. The application process was covered in our July 17 alert.
