Angelo J. Cifaldi to Present at the Law Symposium Sponsored by the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacy Central Chapter

Wilentz President and Managing Director, Angelo J. Cifaldi will present at the Law Symposium sponsored by the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacy Central Chapter. The program entitled “Am I liable?” is a knowledge based program for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The Program Objectives include:

• Review pharmacist liability in making drug therapy recommendations.
• Recall legal responsibility of a pharmacist in medication management through case studies.
• Identify strategies to reduce liability risk.
• Identify the role that pharmacy regulations play in determining the standard of care
• Review areas of liability risk for pharmacy technicians
• Recall legal responsibility of a pharmacy technician through case studies.
• Identify strategies to reduce liability risk.
• Identify the elements of a negligence case and what the plaintiff has to prove.

The New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council For Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program provides 2.0 contact hours of continuing education credits.
