The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission Adopts New Cannabis Testing Guidelines

In their newest publication, Michael F. Schaff and Jennie M. Miller explore the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission’s adoption of updated cannabis testing guidelines. They outline the evolution of testing standards from interim measures in 2021 to the newly implemented framework, which features smaller batch sizes, expanded contaminant screening, and more detailed cannabinoid labeling. The article highlights the NJ-CRC’s focus on public health, safety, and transparency, while also noting the ongoing complexity of navigating state and federal cannabis laws.
