Pharmacy Law

Results achieved in prior matters are not meant to be a guarantee of success as the facts and legal circumstances vary from matter to matter.

For more than 35 years, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. has represented independent pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, retail chains, wholesalers, hospitals, and compounding pharmacies in all aspects of regulatory compliance, including in:

  • Sales and purchases
  • Licensing
  • HIPPA
  • Mail order pharmacies
  • Hearings before the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, Medicaid, Medicare, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and third-party insurance companies

Our practice is led by Angelo Cifaldi, who has practiced pharmacy law for over 35 years. He is a registered pharmacist in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Cifaldi serves as counsel to the New Jersey Pharmaceutical Association and the Garden State Pharmacy Owners Association. In addition to his practice at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A., Mr. Cifaldi has been an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Law at Ernest Mario (Rutgers) School of Pharmacy since 1986.

Mr. Cifaldi regularly gives continuing education seminars relating to important pharmaceutical legal issues for programs sponsored by academic institutions, professional organizations, and retail chains.

Jason Krisza assists Mr. Cifaldi with pharmacy transactions. Mr. Krisza has represented numerous purchasers and sellers of pharmacies in New York and New Jersey, as well as structuring arrangements with pharmacy employees, suppliers, and 340B arrangements.
