Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. is pleased to welcome five new associates, Joshua E. Grun, Alexandra Shapiro, Isabella DiCosmo, Matthew S. Andrade, and Ally Kaden, to the firm’s Woodbridge office this fall.
Joshua and Matthew join the firm’s Land Use group. Joshua comes to Wilentz after completing his clerkship with the Honorable Ellen Torregrossa-O’Connor of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as President of the Real Estate Law Society and a Leadership Fellow, Joshua previously gained experience as a law clerk and intern in both private practice and the public sector. He earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Delaware.
Matthew joins following his clerkship with the Honorable Aravind Aithal, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, he participated in the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic and served as Associate Editor of Health Law Outlook. Matthew earned his B.A. in Economics with minors in Political Science and Spanish from Rutgers University.
Alexandra joins the firm’s Corporate and Health Law groups. Many will remember Alex from her time interning with Wilentz as an undergraduate and during her 1L summer. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and most recently completed her clerkship with the Honorable Michael V. Cresitello, A.J.S.C., of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties, and formerly P.J. Civ. of the Middlesex Vicinage.
Isabella joins the Business Litigation group following her clerkship with the Honorable Haekyoung Suh, P.J. Ch., in the General Equity Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she was Blog Editor of the Pace Environmental Law Review and received an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law. Isabella earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Seton Hall University.
Ally joins the Real Estate and Redevelopment group. She recently earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she ranked in the top 5% of her class. While in law school, Ally served as Senior Associate Editor of the Hofstra Law Review, co-founded the Hofstra NIL Program, and was active in the Real Estate Law Association and Business Law Society. She also participated in the Community and Economic Development Clinic and authored a published note on artificial intelligence and intellectual property. Ally earned her B.S., magna cum laude, in Legal Studies from Babson College, where she was captain of the varsity women’s tennis team.
