Timothy R. Jinks is an associate on the Land Use Team at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. He brings prior experience working with municipal planning and land use boards.
Prior to joining Wilentz, Timothy served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Madelin F. Einbinder, P.J.F.P., of the Ocean County Superior Court. He previously worked as a Law Clerk at a firm in Toms River, New Jersey, where he drafted resolutions for the Lakewood Township Planning Board and Borough of Ocean Gate Land Use Board and assisted with land use board hearings, oral arguments, mediations, depositions, and trials. He also drafted pleadings and correspondence involving municipal boards and agencies and conducted legal research in land use and other areas of law.
Timothy earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2025, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Dayton Law Review and was a member of the Mock Trial Team. While in law school, he also served as Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association and President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Timothy earned an M.S. in Data Analytics from Drew University’s Caspersen School of Graduate Studies in 2022 and a B.A. in History, cum laude, from Drew University in 2021. During his undergraduate studies, he was a member and two-year captain of the Drew University baseball team and received the Larry Horner Award for outstanding leadership.
