Lawrence Jacobs will present “Turning Brownfields Into Golden Business Opportunities” at the 19th Annual Mayor’s Breakfast Summit, starting at 8:30 a.m. The panel will provide an overview of the New Jersey Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), which took on the role of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to oversee the remediation of contaminated sites through the creation of a category of remediation professionals known as Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP). The panel will also consider the impact of the SRRA-LSRP program on economic development in Woodbridge.
Mr. Jacobs will be joined by Jeffery S. Campbell and Robert M. Edgar, partners at Peak Environmental and LSRP members; Anthony Findley, Brownfield Project Manager at New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Solid & Hazardous Waste; and Caroline Ehrlich, Chief of Staff at Woodbridge Township and Executive Director at Woodbridge Township Redevelopment Agency as moderator.
