Wilentz Assistant General Counsel John E. Hogan will present the New Jersey State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education webcast entitled “Navigating the Minefield of the New Normal Due to COVID- 19: Legal Malpractice Issues Emerging from the Pandemic.” Mr. Hogan and the other panelists will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the legal profession, including how to avoid ethical issues in the new reality. Topics of interest include:
- How to maintain civility with your adversaries
- Importance of being cognizant of deadlines
- The ongoing obligation to maintain contact with your clients
- Maintaining confidentiality in a virtual environment
This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.4 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 2.4 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism.
