Wilentz Serves as Bond Counsel to The Board of Education of the Borough of Maywood

Tony Solimine, Co-Chair of the Wilentz Public Finance Group, served as bond counsel to The Board of Education of the Borough of Maywood in the County of Bergen, New Jersey, in connection with its referendum and the subsequent issuance of $22,060,000 School Bonds, Series 2022, dated July 19, 2023. The bond proceeds will be used undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations, repairs and upgrades consisting of the acquisition and installation of a new fire alarm system, repairs to the roof, and HVAC upgrades, and to construct an addition at Memorial School, and to undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations, repairs and upgrades consisting of the acquisition and installation of a new fire alarm system, repairs to the roof, and HVAC upgrades, and renovations to the STEM lab at Maywood Avenue School.
