Brett Harris to Moderate and Present at NJICLE Seminar on Latest in Regulation of Non-Profits

Brett Harris will serve as a moderator and present at the NJICLE seminar entitled “What's New in the Laws Regulating Non-Profits,” sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association Business Law Section. Ms. Harris will present two sessions: “Recent IRS Pronouncements & SALT Deduction Issue” and “Update on State Charities Regulation; Impact of Technology on Fundraising: Text to Give and Crowdfunding.” Ms. Harris and the other panelists will guide those who counsel non-profits to stay up to date on the latest issues facing their organizations in the areas of lobbying, federal and state regulation, maintenance of tax exempt status, and fundraising.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 5.7 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.2 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism. NY and PA credits also available.  It will also be available after the seminar date as a webcast.
