Wilentz shareholder Brett Harris will present “Techno-Ethics and the three ‘C’s of the RPCs: How Use of Technology in Your Practice Implicates RPCs of Competence, Communication and Confidentiality” at the New Jersey State Bar Association Women in the Profession Section Meeting. Ms. Harris will discuss the presence, minimization, and review of metadata in electronic documents, as well as review the ABA Formal Ethics Opinion on “Securing Communications of Protected Client Information” and outline advice on ethical imperatives of cyber security.
This program has been approved for 1.5 hours of total CLE credit for New Jersey. Of these, 1.5 qualify as hours of credit toward ethics/professionalism. 1.5 non-transitional ethics credits have been approved for New York and 1.0 ethics credit is pending for Pennsylvania.
