Brett Harris will present a live national teleconference for National Business Institute entitled “2018 Tax Reform: Big Changes for Tax-Exempt Organizations.” The program is targeted to attorneys and accountants representing tax-exempt entities. Ms. Harris will discuss the following topics: Income Tax Withholding Changes, New Rules for Excise Tax on Employee Compensation and Endowments, Changes to UBTI/UBIT, Changes to Net Operating Losses, New Rules Regarding Tax-Exempt Bonds, Deductions for Local Lobbying Expenditures and New Definition of Tangible Personal Property Items.
This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.80 hours of alternative format CLE credit.
