Wilentz Employment Law Chair Maureen S. Binetti will participate in a panel discussion entitled “#MeToo and Recent Legislation,” hosted by the New Jersey Labor and Employment Relations Association. Ms. Binetti and the other panelists will discuss the amendment to the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, signed by Governor Murphy on March 18, 2019, and the legal impacts of the #MeToo movement on New Jersey's employers and employees. The panel will also address Non-Disclosure Agreements against employees and former employees who enter into settlement agreements.
The New Jersey Labor and Employment Relations Association unites New Jersey professionals from the management, labor, neutral (including arbitrators and mediators), government, and academic fields by sponsoring annual national meetings, where members share their knowledge and experience on employment matters.
