Wilentz Welcomes Kathleen A. Hirce

Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. is pleased to announce that Kathleen “Katie” Hirce has joined the firm’s Environmental team as Counsel.

Katie focuses her practice on environmental compliance and brings extensive experience handling complex matters in the petrochemical and gasoline industries. She counsels clients on investigations and remediation involving former refineries, terminals, and service station sites, and her practice spans the full scope of environmental law, including policy, enforcement, regulatory compliance, negotiations and settlements with government agencies, pursuit of potentially responsible parties, permitting, audits, remediation, property transfers, Superfund issues, environmental risk assessments, and management of environmental liabilities.

Before beginning her legal career, Katie worked as a magazine reporter and editor and has represented media organizations in defamation and privacy matters. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2005 and her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College in 1998.
