Government Ethics Law

Results achieved in prior matters are not meant to be a guarantee of success as the facts and legal circumstances vary from matter to matter.

Ethics violations may result in significant reputational damage, as well as legal liability.  At Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A., we advise municipalities, county agencies, school boards, governmental officials, and parties doing business with government entities on ethics issues. We also help our clients devise processes to promote compliance with state and local government ethics laws, such as the New Jersey Conflicts of Interest Law, Local Government Ethics Law and School Ethics Act. We assist in the filing of annual reporting and disclosure statements required by the ethics laws.
