New Jersey Supreme Court Appoints Viola S. Lordi to Committee on Unauthorized Practice of Law


On November 7, 2018, the New Jersey Supreme Court appointed Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. Shareholder and administrative law attorney Viola S. Lordi to serve as a member of its Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law. Her three-year term commenced on January 1, 2019.

The Committee, which unites 21 New Jersey-based lawyers and four lay members, manages complaints alleging the unauthorized practice of law, and educates through its publication of advisory opinions. The Committee may refer matters to the appropriate law enforcement or other agency for further investigation or prosecution.

At Wilentz, Ms. Lordi focuses her practice on education law and employment law in the education sector, representing a variety of institutional clients, such as public, private and independent school boards; higher education entities; and private agencies and companies.
