Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. is pleased to welcome Peter A. Chacanias as an associate in the firm’s Land Use and Environmental teams. Mr. Chacanias concentrates his practice in land use, redevelopment, tidelands, and related litigation.
Mr. Chacanias represents commercial real estate developers and property owners on all aspects of the land development process, including in connection with site plan approvals, subdivisions, variances, rezoning applications, environmental permits, and access permits. On the litigation side, Mr. Chacanias handles complex title disputes of all types. He regularly appears before the Tidelands Resource Council to present applications for Riparian Grants, and has appeared before county and state agencies in connection with applications for Waterfront Development Permits and CAFRA Permits.
Mr. Chacanias earned his law degree at Seton Hall University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree at Seton Hall University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
